Playa Matapalo was our departure port this time for 2 anglers staying at the Hotel Riu Guanacaste. Captain Arnaldo on board of La Chila took them out looking for Billfish, they did a first stop at the Canalon, Papagayo and then headed out towards San Pedrillo, where they caught and released a nice sailfish. May 24.
Jonathan Spurrier and 2 more anglers staying in Tamarindo Beach, drove to Playas del Coco to catch a fishing charter, they headed north of Papagayo Gulf and had a stellar day catching and releasing 3 roosterfish, 1 sailfish, and 10 dorados. May 21.
Papagayo Gulf, Costa Rica was our departure port for some fishermen who on board of Ryan Lindy on an inshore day caught 5 dorados of about 30 to 40 pounds each, in the Canalon (middle section of Papagayo Gulf). May 20.
Mr. McMahan and 3 of his friends staying at the Hilton Papagayo Hotel, Guanacaste, Costa Rica. when out is a inshore fihsing charter on board of La Chila, they had a wonderfull day catching and releasing 2 roosterfish, 1 sailfish and 1 mahi-mahi for dinner. May 20.
Papagayo Golf, Costa Rica was our departure port for some anglers who on board of Ryan Lindy vessel when out toward Murcieloa Islands, North of Papagayo Golf, they hooked 2 sailfish but they broked the line as well as 2 amberjacks. May 19.
Hilton Papagayo Vacation Family Hotel, Guanacaste, Costa Rica.Jairo captain of Ryan Lindy vessel took Geoff and company out in s deep sea fishing charter, they didn't have good luck 'cause Geoff's main target was sailfish or marlin but they only caughtb arond 12 dorados, they hooked a sailfish but it broke the line also, they hooked a roosterfish bu again it broke the line. May 18.
Playa Potrero, Guanacaste, Costa Rica.was our departure port for a group of anglers who went out on board of Ryan Lindy boat, headed out North of Catalinas Islands, (looks like it is the fishing spot nowadays) by the end of the day they caught and released 4 dorados and 1 sailfish.. May 17.
Papagayo Golf Costa Rica.was our departure port for a group of anglers who went out on board of La Chila-G, Arnaldo captain of it took them out North of Catalinas Islands, catching by the end of the day 1 sailfish and 2 dorados. May 16.
Papafayo Golf, Costa Ricawas our departure port for some fishermen who headed out towards Catalinas Islands on board of Ryan Lindy boat, catching and releasing 3 sailfish by the end of the day. May 16.
Four Seasons Beach, Papagayo Gulf, Costa Rica.was our departure port for a group of 5 who on board of Ryan Lindy boat, headed out North of Catalinas Islands, catching and releasing bay the end of the full fishing day 2 sailfish. May 13.
Playa Blanca at the Four Seasons, Papagayo Gulf, Costa Rica.was our departure port for Ryan Lindy vessel, it took 5 angles from Four Seasosn Hotel towards Catalinas Islands and had a nice day catching and releasing 1 sailfish and 1 blue marlin. May 12.
Golfo de Papagayo, Guanacaste, Costa Rica.was our departure port for Jim White and his family they went out on board of La Chila-G and caught 6 dorados and landed a sailfish. April. 28
Golfo de Papagayo, Guanacaste, Costa Rica.was our departure port for 3 anglers who book the Bahamas for half inshore fishing, they had a blast catching 12 yellowfin tunas and 6 dorados. April. 27
Playa Matapalo, Guanacaste, Costa Rica.was our departure port for David and Katherine staying at the Riu Guanacaste Hotel in the Gulf of Papagayo, they booked a half inshore fishing charter, they headed north of the Papagayo Gulf on board of La Chila-G and by the end of the fishng charter they had caught 2 sailfish and landed one. April. 27
Papagayo Gulf, Costa Rica. Today is the second and last day for Mr. Karel and his wife, on board of Albatres in an inshore fishing charter, they caught 3 nice sized dorados. April. 27
Playa Matapalo in Papagayo Gulf, Costa Rica was our departure port for 3 guys whom booked a half day charter, they ended up with 1 roosterfish and 3 dorados. April. 26
Playa Blanca in Papagayo Gulf, Costa Rica was our departure port Patrick Fixter and his family whom during a full fishing day on board of La Chila-G caught 2 mahi-mahis, one black jack and one sailfish. April. 26
Golfo de Papagayo, Guanacaste, Costa Rica was our departure port for Steve Karel and wife, on thier first full inshore fishing day caught and released a roosterfish (It was Steve's dream) this same day around 1:30pm they landed a blue marlin, this second caught was another dream come true. Mr Karel fought with it for about 2 hours. April. 26
Matapalo Beach, Guanacaste. Same couple went out again booking an inshore fishing but again ended up with 2 sailfish but this time they caught some dorados (4). Thums up for this couple!!. April. 23
Matapalo Beach, Guanacaste was our departure port for a couple who booked an inshore fishing charter, they stayed inshore looking for small species but what they caught and released by the end of the daywas a 200 pounds blue marlin and a sailfish. What a lucky couple!!. April. 22
Papagayo Gulf in Guanacaste, Costa Rica was our departure port Jose on board of Bahamas a 28foot went out with some clients and caught 2 dorados and one sailfish. April. 20
Flamingo Beach, Guanacaste was our departure port for our friend Bill and 9 yeaar old son who booked a full day fishing charter, and here the fishing report by Bill Descher, our satisfied client.
"Had great time on Cormoran fishing with Jesus and Luis. They both worked really hard to get us on some fish. Caught my first marlin ever and they thought it was in the 300 pound range! My 9 year old son caught his first sailfish ever and we landed plenty of mahi mahi as well. If we ever make it back to your area I will definitely fish with you again and I will recommend your charter service to any friends visiting Costa Rica. Playa Blanca at the Four Seasons Hotel was our departure port for our friend Daniel Shaw, he booked a half inshore fishing with Albatres, he wanted to practice some fly fishig and our captain Jose took him to where the roosterfish are, he had a spectacular day catching 4 roosterfish by fly fishing. Playa Matapalo was our departure port for our friends whose booked a full offshore fishing charter on board of La Chila-G, the captain took them North of Papagayo Gulf and by the end of the day, they had landed one marlin, hooked a second one but broke the line and one bonito. March. 28

Hilton Papagayo Resort in Guanacste was our departure port for our friend Diane Hutchinson and her friend Mike, staying at Hilton Papagayo, Costa Rica who headed out North of Catalinas Islands on board of Tuna Fish vessel, by 9:30 am Diane's husband hooked a 300 pounds marlin and fought with it for about 5 hours at the end it broke the line. Old Flamingo Beach Marina was our departure port for our friends Whose had a great fishing adventure on board of Tuna Fish boat, they headed out North of Catalinas Islands, they caught and released a black marlin. March. 14
Playa Conchal in Guanacaste was our departure port for our friends whose booked the Tuna Fish for a full fishing day, they had no luck catching sailfish or marlin, but look at what hey caught, a delicious 70 pounds cubera for diner. March. 08
Playa Hermosa in Guanacste was our departure port for our friend Thomas, staying at Villas Sol Playa Hermosa on board of La-Chila he headed out North in a full fishing charter, catching along the day 1 needlefish, 4 yellowfin tunas, 2 dorados, 1 turtle and 40 bonitos. March. 01
Playa Blanca was our departure port for our friends from Hotel Four Seasons in the Gulf of Papagayo, captain of Bahamas vessel took them out along the Papagayo coast line, catching by the end of the day 1 yellow fin tuna, 1 hamberjack, 1 bonito and 1 mahi-mahi. Feb. 26
Our 3 friends staying at Hotel Riu Guanacaste headed out in a full Dea Sea fishing charter, they had a stellar day catching 8 bonitos, 1 Spanish mackerel, 1 dorado and 14 yellowfin tunas. Feb. 25
Playa Blanca at the Four Seasons was this time our departure port for 2 anglers staying at the Four Season Hotel, captain of Sea Snake headed north, these guys have been one of the lucky ones catching 2 roosterfish the same day. Now a days catching this specie is so rare that we consider anglers lucky if they even catch one in a full day. Well they caught 2 roosterfish and a hamberjack. Feb. 24
Playa Matapalo was again our departure port for our friend Adam, staying at the Hotel Riu Guanacaste, Costa Rica , Arnaldo captain of Chila-G took him towards Papagayo North in an offshore fishing day and had an good day catching 6 bonitos and a roosterfish of about 60 pounds. Feb. 20
Playa Matapalo was our departure port for our friend Brian and 3 of his friends, staying at the Hotel Riu Guanacaste , Arnaldo captain of Chila-G took them out in an offshore fishing day and had an spectacular day catching 1 marlin, they had a second one but it broke the line, they also caught 2 black jacks, 4 bonitos and 1 yellowfin tuna. Playa Ocotal was our departure port for our angler Al Schnaider staying at the Ocotal Resort, Lino, captain of Wahoo headed out towards Penaguastes and Palmares, (these are 2 good inshore fishing spots), this angler had a not common day catching 2 dorads and 1 turtle. Feb. 09
