Inshore Fishing Four Seasons Costa Rica

Playa Blanca was our departure port for our anglers from the Four Seasons Papagayo Hotel, Captain of Bahamas headed out towards Murcielagos Islands, catching along the day 5 yellowfin (20 pounds each), 2 bonitos and 1 mahi-mahi. Jan 31.

Offshore fishing Riu Guanacaste Costa Rica

Matapalo Becah was our departure port for Ron and his wife, this couple is staying at the Hotel Riu Guanacaste. They bought 4 hours offshore and 4 hours inshore fishing trip, Captain of Cormoran headed out north towards Papagayo area and by the end of the day they have had caught 4 dorados, 2 spanish mackerels, 4 bonitos and 11 yellowfin tunas. Wasn't this a great day for this couple???. Jan 31.

Offshore fishing Tamarindo Beach Costa Rica

Flamingo Beach was our departure port for Richard and his friends, this group was coming from Tamarindo Beach, captain of Chila-G headed out towards Catalinas Islands in a full offshore fishing charter, these guys had a wonderful day catching 8 mahi-mahis, 3 bonitos and 1 black jack. Offshore fishing Langosta Beach Costa Rica

Flamingo Beach was our departure port for Jeff and his friends, this group were comming from the Barcelo Playa Langosta, captain of Wahoo headed out of Catalinas Islands in a full offshore fishing charter and by the end of the day our friends from Langosta Beach ended up with 5 dorados and a number of bonitos. Jan 29.

Inshore Fishing Exclusive Resort Papagayo

Playa Blanca at the Four Seasons Hotel was our port this time, Captain of Tuna Fish took Jeff Bigger and his 3 friends in a half inshore fishing charter, they had a spectacular day catching 4 nice sized mahi-mahis, and some bonitos. Jan 28.

Inshore Fishing Charter Playas del Coco

Playas del Coco was the departure port for Corrie and her friends, these 3 anglers were comming from the Hilton Papagayo, captain of Wahoo headed out towards Los Raspados and closer to the Bat Islands Protected Area, these guys got 6 mahi-mahis and some bonitos. Jan 18.

Deep Sea Fishing Hilton Papagayo

Papagayo Gulf has been the perfect place for fishing these last few weeks, inshore fishing is the option for those who would like to catch something during their fishing charter, deep sea fishing has been not great as we were specting for January we hope that water temperature gets warmer and billfish start to bite. But there are those that take a change and deside to give it a try, Today an angler headed out in an offshore fishing charter out of the Hilton Papagayo an caught 2 yellowfin, 2 wahoos, 2 amberjacks, 2 needlefish and 1 bonito, not bad!!. Inshore Fishing out of Hotel Riu Guanacaste

Papagayo Gulf has been the perfect place for fishing these last few weeks, inshore fishing is the option for those who would like to catch something during their fishing charter, deep sea fishing has been not great as we were specting for January we hope that water temperature gets warmer and billfish start to bite. Today a couple headed out of the Hotel Riu in Matapalo an caught a nice sized roosterfish and some bonitos. Jan 15.

Winds are a little strong now a days, the waters in the Papagayo Gulf are warming up finally, that's why we are having lost of inshore species inside the Gulf. Even these killer whales deside to give us a visit, this picture was taken out side of the Papagayo Gulf.

Inshore Fishing out of Flamingo Beach

Captain of the Wahoo took some anglers out of Flamingo Beach in a full inshore fishing charter, they had a blast, by the end of the day they had caught 6 dorados and 1 roosterfish. Jan 10.

Playas del Coco Inshore Fishing Charter

This time Playas del Coco was the port of departure for Bahamas vessel, they went out in a half day inshore fishing and caught 3 dorados and a number of sea bass, which the clients took back to the hotel for dinner. Jan 10.

Inshore Fishing Riu Guanacaste Costa Rica

A charter headed out of the Hotel Riu Guanacaste towards Papagayo are looking for the fighter roosterfish, they didn't find it but instead found 5 mahi-mahis and a bunch of bonitos. Jan 09.
